Transfer of Leadership Program

Upon completion of the “bring back home program”, volunteers can enter the final stage of our program: the leadership hand-over program. In this program, volunteers will be learning all the skills which are part of Big Teacher’s NGO Service Life and NGO Set-up Program. Volunteers will develop the following skills:

Coaching, advising & training

Learning how to coach, motivate, guide, train and support the team and the students.

Business and strategy thinking

To ensure the survival of the school, business and strategy thinking is required.

Project planing & management

As a manager, you need to plan and look at how to make your center grow. Then act upon it.

Relationships with officials & community

The relationships with the community and official authorities are important for the center's growth.

Budget planning & accounts for the center

Keeping your accounts in order and budgetting for the next phase are crucial for the survival of the center.

Education and development mindset

It is important to always look into the educational side of things (e.g. students development).

Volunteers will practice these skills by running a province center under supervision of the management of AHHA. Once they have developed all the skills and they are ready to continue the path of social service on their own, we will transfer the ownership of the center to the managers so that they can continue to run the center independently.

Outcomes

Lasting impact in the community

Transfer of AHHA skills to others

Able to start own initiative

Live by principles of Science

Balanced life of survival/service

Run a center independently

Understanding the power of potential

Great educator in the community
